Every time Fred & myself have the opportunity to travel, we always open the map and search for new areas to explore. For some reason, we always end up outside of Spain and only recently we realized our “area” (aka South of Spain) is still very new for us. Since we loveee going on roadtrips, we decided to spend the next few weeks exploring the spanish coast. First stop: Agua Amarga.
You guys already know how much I loved Budapest and ending my journey at the stunning Corinthia Hotel was simply magical. One of the things that impressed me the most about the city is the architecture and I was looking forward to experience a stay in this iconic hotel. If you’re looking for a romantic getaway in the capital, this place is for you.
New season calls for new adventures and I’m so ready for fun getaways this Spring! I love traveling light (even though I always end up complaining I didn’t bring enough clothes) and when it comes to my beauty routine, I always try and pack travel-size products that will fit my carry-on bag. It’s also a great way to test the products and see what works best for me before buying the full size. For skincare shopping, my go-to place is Sephora because they really do have the best product selection out there.
Last minute trips are always the best ones! I booked a flight to Romania last week for some paperwork and since I ended up running all my errands on the first day, I was able to organize a getaway in a city that I always wanted to visit: Budapest. I actually have hungarian blood (my mom’s side) and was really looking forward to discover this historical gem. After one of the best 5 hours drive through the countryside, we finally made it to Hungary. Me and Fred couldn’t keep looking out the window and admire the breathtaking architecture. We couldn’t wait to check-in at The Magazine Hotel!
Each year I go through the same debate – what to do on my birthday. I always end up spending quality time with family and friends but this year was definitely different since they are on the other side of the ocean. After some talks with Fred we decided we wanted to go somewhere exotic (beach please), with some fun activities (when laying down in the sun is enough – is that even possible? ha!) and good food. We literally took out the world map and this is when the Canary Islands came up.
