The Zoobox Experience

January 25, 2018

I’m all about discovering unique accommodations and I have to say I already had a place in mind when planning my return to Canada last month. The Zoobox concept is a one-of-a-kind retreat in the Eastern Townships and it was the perfect place for me to unwind and reconnect with Mother Nature ;). Continue Reading

Le Baluchon

August 13, 2016

Since we are planning such a huge trip in September (more details real soon I promise), we decided to spend the summer in Quebec, enjoying small road trips across the province. My favorite getaway so far was definitely at the eco resort Le Baluchon. The land itself, the beautiful scenery, the gastronomy, the service, the rustic yet modern rooms, the spa and all the amazing activities are only some of the reasons why this hotel should be on your top list when visiting Quebec. Today I am spending some time with the family strolling around Quebec City. It was a bit chilly in the morning so I was happy to steal my mom’s jacket for a while. She has great taste and I actually love going through her stuff and see what else I can borrow from time to time :P.

In the afternoon we walked on Grande Allée street to find a sunny terrace. We stumbled upon the restaurant L’Atelier that’s specialized in tartars and cocktails (really? my two favorite things!). Does anybody have any other good suggestion for my next QC visit?
