Hervé Léger Fall/Winter 2016-2017

March 2, 2016

Herve Leger-7

Hervé Léger’s Fall/Winter 2016-2017 collection is definitely speaking to the edgy, rocker fashionista out there. Studs, leather and faux fur are paired with tones of black, white, grey and nude. I fell in love with the cut-outs and the fringe detailing on the body con dresses, not to mention the patent boots that completed the looks perfectly. Take a look at some of my faves from the runway. When I was younger, I use to save up for months just to get the “IT” bag I was dying to add to my wardrobe. A few years later, you could easily find that same bag, hiding in the back of my closet, dusty and forgotten. Continue Reading

Black Culottes

February 24, 2015

Sooo after the kind-of-not-that-cold-for-february temperature on my first day in New York, I decided to pick a spring appropriate outfit. WHAT A MISTAKE! I’m not even kidding you couldn’t breath outside. So hard to take any good pictures because first, I constantly had my hair all over my face (but not in a nice, sexy way!) and because Fred (my photographer) was shaking the whole time and the pics kept getting blurry. What? I had to blame it on something/someone :P.  Ok back to my outfit. I knew I wanted to pull off an all black look at some point and I felt like adding a crop top would give a punch to my overall outfit (instead of looking like I was wearing a black jumpsuit – not that it would have been a bad idea hehe). Culottes are also a huge trend for spring and they are just so perfect with heels and/or sneakers. Actually the only good choice I made that morning was bringing my Mackage coat with leather sleeves with me. NYFW, you were fun (and cold), see you soon ;).
