I remember turning 20 and thinking how many things I would achieve before 30. I was picturing myself with a husband, a few kids, a beautiful house, a successful career and many more. And then, time passed as I quickly realized things would be different for me.
New season calls for new adventures and I’m so ready for fun getaways this Spring! I love traveling light (even though I always end up complaining I didn’t bring enough clothes) and when it comes to my beauty routine, I always try and pack travel-size products that will fit my carry-on bag. It’s also a great way to test the products and see what works best for me before buying the full size. For skincare shopping, my go-to place is Sephora because they really do have the best product selection out there.
Fun fact: it takes me more time to pick up an outfit than to get my make-up done. I’ve always stand by the quote “Less is more” when it comes to my beauty essentials and by that, I mean choosing the right products for me. During those hectic Parisian days, I had a simple but very efficient makeup routine that was Fashion Week approved. Here are the five (easy) steps I follow religiously.
I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again – Fashion Month has to be the most stressful period of the year for me. The planning itself is quite something but nothing compared to actually running around from one show to another while shooting and trying to grab something to eat. Although my skin is not naturally very sensitive, all the travels, junk food and stress are not helping out. This season, I tried to prioritize my skincare routine and to follow all the steps in order to have a glowing skin and reduce all signs of fatigue.
As you may all probably know (if you follow me on my social media channels), I’ve been part of the the YSL Beauty Crew for the past year. I had the chance to try out so many makeup goodies from the iconic brand and I have to say some products became true essentials in my everyday routine. As I’m constantly traveling, I’m sticking to one makeup pouch that I carry anywhere I go. I tried the first ink-in-cushion from YSL Beauty right before my trip to Madrid and immediately knew it was a travel must.
