While I updated my Fall wardrobe to chunky knits & beret hats I was still looking for that perfect accessory to complete my seasonal looks. Shopping for a new bag always makes me anxious: I am forever debating on what style and brand I really want and the fear of choosing a bag that will end in the back of my closet is reaaal. I always start my research on Vestiaire Collective because not only do they have an incredible assortment of bags but nothing feels better than getting a new luxury tote at a great price.
My obsession with Vestiaire Collective started last year when I purchased my first Chanel bag. The overall experience was amazing starting from the selection of vintage Chanel bags (any color you want, in any shape you’ll ever dream of) to the smooth delivery a few days later. Since every item is rigourously checked by the Vestiaire Collective team, the authenticity factor is no longer an issue. After wearing my Chanel bag pretty much every day for the past year (take a look at my Instagram feed – it’s almost embarrassing) I was definitely ready for a change. I’ve had Balenciaga in my head for a while now (I feel they are killing the game lately) and while browsing on Vestiaire Collective, I stumbled upon the Classic Silver Nano City and it was love at first sight. Although I was once head over heels with anything oversize in the bag department, I like everything small (very small) lately. Since I love to layer during those colder days, I feel like the size is perfect to wear the bag cross body.
Vestiaire Collective is a marketplace well known for its pre-loved luxury goodies but what I also realized is that a lot of fashionistas are also selling some brand new items to a great price. For example, my Balenciaga bag was new (with tags and dust bag) and I got it for almost 40% less than on the brand’s website. You need to be quick because the good deals are gone in no time this is why I suggest creating an alert for the item you want so you’ll get an email (or a txt message) when a new item is online.
I obviously couldn’t complete my order on Vestiaire Collective without taking a look at their latest vintage arrivals annnd I might have bought another bag :P. Soon on my Instagram page!
