Every time Fred & myself have the opportunity to travel, we always open the map and search for new areas to explore. For some reason, we always end up outside of Spain and only recently we realized our “area” (aka South of Spain) is still very new for us. Since we loveee going on roadtrips, we decided to spend the next few weeks exploring the spanish coast. First stop: Agua Amarga.
After spending the last year in Spain, not visiting Mallorca was pretty much a shame! A short airplane flight (an hour away from Malaga’s airport to be more precise) and we landed in paradise (literally). First stop, Palma, the biggest city of Mallorca, where we stayed at the trendy Nakar Hotel. No need to say we couldn’t pick a better hotel in the heart of the city.
So excited to finally share some more pictures from my stay at beautiful Casa Mãe in Lagos. We had the chance to stay in their new Heritage suite, where vintage meets a spacious & luminous environment. Everything from the music playing in the room to the spectacular views of the city made our stay in Lagos unique. Not only is Casa Mãe my favorite place to stay in the city but I also highly recommend their restaurant, Orta – an authentic cuisine with a modern mix of flavors & presentation. While you’re there, make sure to check out their store with so many fun finds. Each time we’re in town, we can’t help but bring a souvenir or two :).
You guys already know how much I loved Budapest and ending my journey at the stunning Corinthia Hotel was simply magical. One of the things that impressed me the most about the city is the architecture and I was looking forward to experience a stay in this iconic hotel. If you’re looking for a romantic getaway in the capital, this place is for you.
Last minute trips are always the best ones! I booked a flight to Romania last week for some paperwork and since I ended up running all my errands on the first day, I was able to organize a getaway in a city that I always wanted to visit: Budapest. I actually have hungarian blood (my mom’s side) and was really looking forward to discover this historical gem. After one of the best 5 hours drive through the countryside, we finally made it to Hungary. Me and Fred couldn’t keep looking out the window and admire the breathtaking architecture. We couldn’t wait to check-in at The Magazine Hotel!
